1st QuickRes enhances the standard Windows 95/98/NT Display Properties dialog, providing the ability to switch desktop size, colors, refresh rates and screensavers on-the-fly from the system tray. QuickRes keeps positions of desktop icons when changing desktop size. It previews your changes with options to confirm or abandon and automatically returns to previous mode after 15 seconds, if you do not confirm explicitly. You can define your favorite desktop, color and refresh rate settings. Later you can access them from the tray menu or using system-wide hotkeys. Prebuilt favorites allows you to incrementally enlarge and reduce desktop size. If you wish, you can define such favorites for colors and refresh rate. You have full screensaver control with QuickRes. Launch, configure and set as default any screensaver from the tray menu. If you like to access screensavers fast, launch default screensaver by double-clicking tray icon and using system-wide keystroke. You can explicitly enable and disable screensavers. |
