KwikStat is a statistical analysis package with popular data analysis and graphing procedures for business and scientific research. Using a Windows-like interface, KwikStat helps you decide on the appropriate analysis to use, reads data from the keyboard or files, performs the analysis, and offers interpretation of results. Data analysis includes descriptive statistics, comparative tests, correlation and regression, frequencies and crosstabulations, survival analysis, graphs, and more. The descriptive statistics include mean, standard deviation, variance, median, minimum, maximum, standard error of the mean, coefficient of variation, percentiles, Tukey 5 number summary, user specified confidence interval about the mean, by-group means on up to 1000 groups, and others. The comparative tests include independent group and paired t-tests, independent group and repeated measures analysis of variance (ANOVA), Dunnett's test, non-parametric comparative tests (Mann-Whitney, Kruskal Wallis, Freidman's, McNemar, Cochran's Q), Tukey (HSD), Newman Keuls, and ScheffÈ multiple comparison procedures, and others. The correlation and regression analyses include simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, R-Square, Pearson's and Spearman's correlations, prediction, residual plots, correlation matrix, scatterplot matrix, and others. The frequency and crosstabulation analyses include goodness of fit, frequency distribution, crosstabulations, chi-square, odds ratio, relative risk, Fisher's exact test, Yate's correction, Phi, Cramer's V, and Contingency Coefficient. The survival analyses include actuarial, Kaplan-Meier, and Mantel-Haenzel comparison of survival curves. The graphs include bar, area, line, dot and pie charts, boxplots, histogram, scatterplot, time series plots, 2-D and 3-D bar charts, XYZ 'spin' plot, stem-and-leaf display, interaction plots, and more. KwikStat reads and writes dBase and ASCII files, importing data from any other program. |
