Lesson Planner was written under the guidance of teachers from all levels of education and in several different countries. The ultimate goal was to produce a flexible lesson planner that would allow a database of "activities" to be written for incorporating into plans and sharing with other teachers. The lesson exchange web site was set up for this interchange. Note: Quick plans can be written without any activities in the database, but read the tutorial for more details. Easy to use import and export facilities allow information exchange via the internet and through friends. Create detailed Schemes of Work mapped to your curriculum. Lesson plans can be inserted or removed, or dates brought forward or back, depending on your schedule and those unfortunate one day holidays that mean you miss a double period. You can of course input all holidays into the yearly calendar to remind youself not to plan a lesson on a particular day. Built-in worksheet organiser helps to control your computer resources. All worksheets and computer files can be linked to a lesson plan so that you will be informed when printing of the required printouts. Use multiple timetables if your school is one which alternates its weeks. Lesson plans and activities are categorised so they can be found in seconds. Keep classlist information and print-off class lists for use as mark sheets. Printouts are highly configurable down to the fonts used and the nformation they contain. Predefined print layouts can be written so you can print your plans with minimal detail for everyday work or with maximum detail for those inspections. A full tutorial style help file with a printable version for hard copy reference canb be downloaded for free on the download page. The Lesson Exchange web site has plenty of space for your work. Send them to me and I will place them there. This site is there for swapping information relating to this program so please use it. |
