SymmeToy lets children eight years and older create symmetric art.
Young artists like to produce symmetric art without the drudgery of redrawing the same picture over and over again. The program comes with 25 symmetric pictures which are organized into four categories which include pattern paintings, symmetry roses, Escher-like drawings and decorated 3D models. You can view these pictures, or repaint them using your own colors. Experiment with the color wheel to change their color schemes with the click of a button. You can also create your own works of symmetric art that share the underlying symmetry of any of the standard pictures.
