CommCenter works in the background while you play an online game, letting you use your microphone to talk with other players. If you play games like Quake 3 Arena and Unreal Tournament, you would appreciate the ability to converse with other players. CommCenter mixes what is said between players with the game's sound effects, so you can understand what is being said. You can also use it to communicate with your family and friends while you are browsing the Web, or set up an ongoing chat session on your company's LAN. CommCenter supports proxies, enables you to use voice modifiers, such as musical or robotic, and includes a mute function. The program runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar. |
