Titans of Steel is a tactical, turn-based game where you build giant fighting robots and then battle it out on hexagonal landscapes. In the year of 2066, one of the main entertainment attractions are contests between colossal robots, fought all over the world and watched by billions of spectators. These mechanized warriors are piloted by short-lived rookies or notorious veterans, called jocks. A jock's life is dangerous indeed, therefore most of them are recruited directly from prison and offered pardons if they live long enough to become famous. Titans of Steel consists of three modules. In the Headquarters module, you build and manage your team of up to 8 pilots and 16 titans. In the Factory module, you can design new titans. The factory features 20 chassis types, 29 weapon systems, and equipment from scanners to jump ports. You can create small but quick reconnaissance titans as well as 200-ton behemoths armed with devastating weapons. In the Battle module, fights are resolved using a unique time-sliced turn system. You can play solo, hotseat, or on a LAN with up to 4 players. |
