wGrabber is a small Internet utility showing content of Web pages and servers. In the difference from standard Web browsers, this program shows all information (files) on remote Web sites exactly as those files are really located. You will be able to see the directory structure on remote Web site (on left-hand pane), all files contained in the directories (on right-hand pane) like as standard Windows file Explorer does. You can find files that were skipped during viewing Web pages in browser and discover something interesting for you. Basic features & advantages: wGrabber downloads only minimal amount of bytes from every file required to determine file content while analyzing directory structure on remote Web site. This extremely speeds up the building of file structure. Additional information is available for every file: file size, last modification date etc. wGrabber can show fast thumbnails for image files. You can download to your local disk any file you are interested in. Using filters you can view only files interesting for you: for example, you can view only .mp3 files if you are looking for music, picture files if you are looking for photos. Intraction with Windows Explorer and Internet Exlorer: you can drag and drop files from wGrabber to Windows Explorer and URLs from Internet Explorer to wGrabber. wGrabber supports connections through HTTP proxy servers. wGrabber supports connections to Web sites requiring authorization (login/password). You can quick pause, resume, and stop analyzing remote Web site content in any time. The program is highly configurable. You can either alter the most of its settings or use default ones. |
