IntelliMote is a simple application that will allow you to use your cell phone (or other mobile device) with Internet access to remotely control your computer! It also allows for custom plug-ins to be made so that IntelliMote can do anything you want it to. Use it to lauch/close applications (and services), restart/shutodwn the computer, create users and security levels, bookmark sites for the mobile device, and more! IntelliMote ships with five plug-ins for you to use right away: Applications, Bookmarks, Media Player 7, System Functions and Winamp. It is easiest to use IntelliMote if you have an Internet connection that is always on (such as cable, or DSL). If you are don't have a static IP Address (such as with dial-up), you will need to either type in your IP address each time you use IntelliMote or get a static domain name (free services are available such as www.dyndns.org) You'll also get superb online help: you can download the User Manual to learn how simple it is to use all the features of IntelliMote, and if you are a developer, download the Developer's Edition of the User Guide to learn how to create your own plug-ins!
