WhoIsNot is a powerful domain name searching utility. WhoIsNot lets you perform single or batch lookups using a Web-browser-style search window that displays hyperlinks. You can browse backwards and forwards through searches, pick from a list of previous searches, or click on items such as domain names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses and contact handles to cross reference further details. A 'log window' keeps track of all results, and you can set up custom rules for categorizing the results. You can create rules which handle server responses. For example, a rule named 'Local Businesses' can be defined to appear in the log report whenever a search result in a company with a local ZIP code or an area code. WhoIsNot supports the domains .com, .net, .org, .edu, .gov, .mil and .int, as well as dozens of international domains. Other features include: the ability to boomakr your queries, support for the 'finger' protocol for looking up contact information, the ability to browse Web and FTP sites related to domains and e-mail addresses without leaving WhoIsNot, a 'find' utility with support for UNIX-style regular expressions to find text in retrieved information, the ability to convert IP addresses to host names, and much more. |
