GifClean32 makes GIF images smaller by removing unnecessary information that may be built in.
GIF image files contain a number of internal structures. These structures govern how the GIF is displayed, the looping counter, delay times, etc. There are also a number of comment and application extension structures. This information takes up space and could cause some delay in loading a GIF file to your Web page. GifClean can reduce the size of GIF files by up to 1k by removing this information. |
