Popfix removes pops and clicks from wave file recordings taken from different types of media such as vinyl records and magnetic tapes.
Popfix is easily configurable and provides plenty of control over its processing parameters. You can select the number of passes performed on the source audio file. You can define how the pop is trapped by setting the 'Shoulders', 'Pop Window', and 'Sensitivity' parameters via slider bars, save your parameters, and identify the number of pops found in the left and right channels. During file processing, status information is continuously updated, and you can abort the processing at any time. You can quickly hear the effects of any changes by clicking the 'Preview' button. |
