TimeOut PC software controls and limits time spent on a computer. It is aimed mainly at parents who want to control how much time their children are spending on the computer.
The time spent playing games and surfing the Internet can be controlled. In addition, an automatic shutdown feature allows the length of time the computer is in use to be controlled. After a specific length of time a user will be informed that the usage time has been reached and the application cannot be re-activated until a specific length of time has expired.
Timeout PC is both flexible and easy-to-use. It automatically runs in the background on startup and an icon in the system tray, beside the clock, is used to access the software. Timeout PC informs the user 1 minute before their time expires, giving them an opportunity to exit their game or application.
TimeOutPC has been developed with a minimum of user setup features. It is simple to install and configure and can be adapted to control up to five games or applications that are used most often. If required all application can be monitored and therefore the PC's usage time controlled. TimeOut PC is password controlled and cannot be shutdown without a password. |
