Archivista organizes your papers and documents. It starts by scanning documents; then it searches for and displays pages; retrieves text with an external OCR software; and compresses for archiving and thumbnail generation on your active drive to speed archive searching.
Archivista can handle up to several million pages per database and is a multiuser application with access-control mechanisms on the level of the database and the individual documents. Archivista handles a number of formats to ensure minimum disk space requirements for color, gray-scale and black-and-white documents. Database maintenance tools for the system administrator help keep performance high. Scanning controls, OCR integration (optional FineReader-Engine available) and search/sort/filter capability are all at your fingertips.
