Family Matters 97 is a full-featured genealogy program.
It provides a variety of ways to view and access your genealogical information. The features include: support for unlimited individuals, families, spouses, children, and inter-relationships; support for unlimited events for individuals and families; text entry of 65,000 characters for each family and individual; the ability to include photographs (persons can be linked to as many pictures as you like, and that each picture can be linked to as many persons as you like); a Chronicles database for recording information about the life and times of your ancestors; Source Repositories database for recording where your family's source data is stored; search and replace functions, including extensive wildcards; the ability to print a variety of reports and charts, including Pedigree, Descendancy, Individual, Family, and Picture; GEDCOM file import and export, and more.
One of the most unique features is the ability to generate your own genealogical Web site directly from Family Matters. Even if you don't use Family Matters as your primary genealogical software, it will import your GEDCOM and produce a nifty Web site for you.
