Urry Software Lab XML engine is rapid web development tool, designed for parsing data from xml files and including it into different HTML templates. The engine works on Internet server, and may be used as the basis of complicated web site. At first the engine was intended to work only with Association of Shareware Professionals software XML PAD files (see more on http://www.asp-shareware.org/ ). But in process of it's creation it became an abstract development tool, which may be used for different XML concerning purposes. USL XML engine main features and tasks:
Extraction of abstract data from XML files.
Insertion of XML data, environment variables and other information in HTML templates by means of specific HTML extensions ColdFusion - like language.
Displaying in browser or/and saving on the server parsed HTML templates.
If - else implementation, possibility to check the presence or absence of data in XML.
Possibility to include in templates the data from local and remote HTML or text files, and also CGI scripts output.
File management features on the server for collection and systematization of parsed files, directories management, duplicete entries prevention.
File search operations.
Configurable error handling.
Engine may be configured for multiple tasks simultaneously.
Currently USL XML engine may operate under Win32 platform, later it may be transfered on other systems. |
