This search system, unlike many on the market, does not require server scripts (Perl, PHP, ASP, ISAPI, NSAPI, etc) and daemons. Program may be used on homepages placed on public web servers where usage of user scripts are not allowed.
You can also use your search system for portable documentation of software products or search systems for CD and DVD. The heart of the system is JavaScript. The link database is stored as JavaScript as well. The script the system uses is also compatible with older browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and Netscape Communicator 3.0. Any browsers which support JavaScript are also compatible, such as Opera.
Our system allows you to have full control of the search so you dont overload your web server. All search queries take place on the clients local machine without additional web server calls.
