File Lock can lock your files/folders to prevent others to view, modify, move or delete them. once a file or a folder was locked by File Lock, none can open it by any program except File Lock, also none can delete it, move it etc.
If a file or a folder is locked, it will be encrypted automatically, and it will be hided to a "File Lock" icon, you click it will only open it with File Lock.
File Lock has password protection feature, anyone must first input the correct password in order to use it.
It will add a menu item "Lock this file" or "Lock this folder" in the context menu of Windows Explorer after File Lock be installed. you can right click at any file in Windows Explorer and choose "Lock this file" to lock it directly by File Lock, needn't launch File Lock manually. Also, you can right-click at a folder and choose "Lock this folder" to lock a folder directly.
The main window of File Lock support Drag and drop files to it, you can simply select one or more files/folders and drop them to File Lock main window to lock them auto. |
