AOL Instant Messenger is free software.
So long as you have a computer, or even a Personal Digital Assistant, that can run the software, you can use AIM. The free AIM software is very similar to the Instant Messaging software that AOL members can access, but you don't have to be an AOL member to use it. (We think, though, that once you get started with AIM, you'll find that the other AOL services make becoming a member one of the best moves you can make) |
